Lyves is a London based singer-songwriter that has caught the ear of: Notion, Pigeons & Planes, Complex, Clash, Majestic Casual, MTV Hits, and Rolling Stone. Lyves soulful singing has also been used in film and TV shows. She was asked to join Alma Har’el’s – Free the Bid, an all-female roster of film composers. Lyves radio support includes: BBC 1Xtra (Jamz Supernova), 6Music (Mary Anne Hobbs and Chris Hawkins) and BBC Introducing in London as well at KEXP in the US. Her single “Certain Things” reached number 1 on Hype Machine and Lyves was invited to perform her song “Darkest Hour” on the renowned COLORS show. She has gained over 20 million streams and that number will certainly climb with the release of her single, “Tell Me That You Feel It Too.”  The track is Chapter 4 in Lyves’s Eight Rooms project, which is a series of songs accompanied by striking short films – one a month for eight months. Each video is an emotive and captivating close-up exploration of an intimate emotional theme, conveyed through personal and thoughtful stories about people. Speaking of the project; “My intent for this series is to unravel emotions that are so often buried,” she explains. “Many of the emotions are representative of healing, and in turn, growing. By bringing them to light, I hoped to illustrate that it can be liberating to truly reveal ourselves.” That’s the short of it!
