Positives:

With a distinct vocal style and solid songwriting, Kole is certainly posed to become the next pop powerhouse.

Bottom Line:

"Missing Each Other" has elements of pop, dance music and well-structures songwriting of Kole’s Nashville influences. Opening with a hip synth pattern that allows Kole to flaunt her vocal skills. The well-written lyrics deal with the struggle of getting on the same page in the dating game. The chorus is catchy and there is a nice cross of pop and electronica. The hi-hat pattern is a little stale, but Kole’s voice makes up for that aspect of the tune. The song-form has a nice variety of sounds and feels. The bridge features Kole’s upper register singing, which is clear and full of passion. The production and mix allows all the instruments to support Kole’s vocals and each lyric rings clear. Kole is certainly catching many ears and the anticipation for the EP in September is certainly high. That’s the short of it!
