Nicky Romero has quickly progressed to one of the most prolific names in modern dance music. A talented DJ and producer, but also the label owner of Protocol Recordings and a mentor to the up-and-coming artists whose careers he helps to cultivate. Over the course of his music career, Romero has created both iconic originals and high-profile collaborations with artists such as Avicii, Calvin Harris, NERVO, ZEDD and more. His discography includes “Be Somebody” with Steve Aoki and Kiiara, the indie-electronica track “Paradise” with Deniz Koyu and Walk off the Earth, the country-inspired “Rise,” and his club-friendly hit “Duality.” The Protocol Recordings label head teamed up with promising Swedish singer/songwriter Alice Berg for the track “My Way,” which serves as the break out track for Berg.  Strong vocals over excellent sounds that make you wanna dance. That’s the short of it!

Positives:

Berg has a strong vocal presence. Her voice is versatile and commanding.

Bottom Line:

"My Way," pairs Berg’s voice with Romero’s production skills for a supreme result. Berg’s breathy vocals give life to Romero's percussive breakdown and strong hook-oriented melodies. "My Way" is the perfect teaser for Alice Berg's upcoming new music rumored to be releasing in 2019. Berg, who is signed to LMG|OUTFLY and has over 35 million streams as a featured artist. Cementing the public is ready for more. The song has multiple feels and sections that flow into each other. The riffs are given different instrumentations to build interest. The result, an enjoyable listen that puts a positive twist on the romantic break-up and when the body is dancing, the mind will follow.
