COBBLE, October Review

COBBLE, October Review 1

The 25-year-old Portsmouth born, Singapore raised, part-Persian Saam Jafarzadeh has been making music since he was 17.  His previously chosen path of sound engineering changed course upon moving from his childhood home of Singapore to the creative hinterlands of Liverpool. With the release of his single “October” Cobble amalgamates elements of electronic neo-soul with what Cobble refers to as “Martian hip-hop.”  Cobble explains: “There’s something so emotive about the human voice that can’t be replicated with synthesis. I love chopping up vocal parts and turning them into new parts.”  His single “October will debut on the Audio Network on October 26, 2018.

Positives:

Cobble’s creative juices are flowing on “October.” His electronic sounds offer a desire uniqueness that speak to his singular sound. His mastery in the production chair is well beyond his 25 years on this earth.

Bottom Line:

Cobble utilizes the intrinsic nature of neo-soul with the best of what electronica has to offer. A solid mix of downtempo electro with layered vocals, airy synths, FX and tribal grooves, Cobble has released this “October” mix just in time for your break out party on the 31st.
