Positives:

A beautifully stripped-down sound offers the listener and honest and organic reading of “Heaven (Doesn't seem too far away).” Perry’s voice is earnest and convincing.

Bottom Line:

A dreamy ambient pop tune "Heaven (Doesn't seem too far away)” swirls with electronic sound and a strumming guitar that sets the rhythmic tone of the tune. Perry describes the meaning behind the tune. “it’s a note to remind others that no matter how hard life gets, always try and look at it with a lighter perspective. It expresses the importance of being grateful for the friends and family and to not be afraid to reach out for help, even if it makes you look vulnerable.” This vulnerability is transferred through the music. Perry conveys each note with a dripping sincerity that connects the listener to the lyrics and binds them to the bands heartfelt single. That’s the short of it!
