Formed as a group eight years ago The Rainbow Seekers led by songwriter and lead vocalist, Joe Hertler it was long before Ryan Hoger joined the visionary songsmith. With the core sound established it wasn’t long before Multi-instrumentalist and auxiliary percussionist Micah Bracken, saxophonist Aaron Stinson, and bassist “Bambis” and finally drummer, Ryan McMahon hitched a ride on the The Rainbow Seekers bus. The have appeared at such notable festivals as Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, and Summer Camp. The band has continued to forge their sound complete with live performances to include piñatas to confetti, to fog, to flowers, to drum solos, to strobe lights, to Thor, to sword battles-literally anything goes.” In this grooving spirit the group brings for their latest single “Passing Through.”
Positives:
Peacocking with infectious rhythms and Hertler’s inviting, warmly toned voice. “Passing Through,” will immediately find a place in your heart.
Bottom Line:
A traveling song, with a strong kick drumbeat, and jangling guitar. The band blends in harmonic backing vocals and colorizations with flute, piano, saxophone and swelling wah-wah guitar. The songwriting is memorable and will instantly get your foot tapping with its infectious lyrics and equally uplifting rhythms. Hertler has the kind of voice you want to linger longer with. Illuminated with a friendly warming tone. The Rainbow Seekers certainly have a recipe that cooks. That’s the short of it!
