Heavenly Faded is a 4-piece rock band from NYC that banded together in early 2018. Their sound features tightly woven harmonies and crunchy reverb-drenched guitars, all backed by a thunderous rhythm section. They just released a single titled “Cartoon Eyes” that hit the streets on December 21, 2018. The group tackled the project completely DIY, with mixing and mastering at a friend’s studio. The tune is a collaborative effort by all members of the band. The group line up consists of: LP Francisco: vocals, guitar; Stanley Augonis: drums; Rijk van Zanten: bass, vocals; and Danny Morrison: lead vocals, guitar.
Positives:
An edgy affected guitar sound, with slamming drums and heavy hooks is what makes this rock group stick to your bones.
Bottom Line:
Morrison has the type of rock voice that hits the mark, screaming rock highs, with a powerfully muscular rock attitude. The production utilizes multi-layers of vocals parts and heavily effected guitars, with the stuff of 80s rock gods, Heavenly Faded is not a schtick, they are the real deal. “Cartoon Eyes,” is the beginning of something great from this NYC emerging group.
