Sylvia Bennett Baby, It’s Cold Outside Review 2

Sylvia Bennett was born in Italy, yet raised in America, was this continental beginning the extra special international flair that garnered this Grammy nominated international recording artist and song-writer that extra something special to attract the legendary Lionel Hampton to hire Sylvia as his main vocal feature.  Well, speculation or not, Bennett has performed at Presidential Inaugurations and opened for such renowned artists as Bob Hope, Phyllis Diller, Jackie Mason, Dizzy Gillespie, Barry Gibb and David Brenner.  Bennett has since captivated audiences and critics alike with her je ne sais quoi vocals and seductive cross blending of adult contemporary and pop. That’s the short of it!

Positives:

Bennett is back with a single this year entitled “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” featuring special guest vocalist Paul Brown. The two together are like finely hued chocolate. The single is dreamy, sensual, and guaranteed to get you in the mood to deck the halls.

Bottom Line:

Excellent production and the chemistry between Bennett and Brown is delicious. Bennett is not slowing down, she just keeps getting better. Brown is the perfect male counterpoint to Bennett, the two blend perfectly together. This single is a must add to any holiday celebration. A winning track to add to the holiday cheer.
