Sesemann is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden. The twenty-one-year old started his music career at the age of eight by playing guitar and singing outside of a local grocery store. Since that time, he has focused on song writing and building unique atmospheres in which to share his music from. Sesemann started to develop his music for release soon after graduating senior high school at Rytmus, which is the same school that has formed many different pop stars like: Icona Pop, Tove Lo, Kim Cesarion and among others. His debut single, “Mystic” contains a catchy melody paired with contemporary sounds. Sesemann is now releasing his second single, “Good To Be Alive.” Which proves to be a prodigious step forward for the vocalist. That’s the short of it!
Positives:
Catchy melody, full clear productions and solid singing. Nice acoustic guitar sound and feel.
Bottom Line:
Sesemman’s single “Good To Be Alive” is the perfect joining of a catchy melody and dance floor ready beat. Sesemman’s vocal style is clean, in pitch and offers great articulation. His melodic lines are easy to follow and lay firmly in the pocket. The production is full and filled with variations and little nuances that keep you interested as the track unfolds. The blend of acoustic and electronic instruments is an excellent choice and the mix is in balance, making both sounds sit in the mix with clarity and focus. Certainly, worth the price of admission “Good To Be Alive,” would be a nice option in your playlist lineup.
