Sam Setton is a singer, songwriter, and producer that was born and raised in New York City. Setton creates contagious electro-pop music that has a heavy soul and R&B influences. His tracks have a more organic vocal sound than most electro-pop mixes. His sounds are reminiscent of HONNE and Majid Jordan with the songwriting sensibility of LANY. Setton’s vocals exhibit a wide range and warm soulful timbre. Setton is releasing a new track titled “Gum.” Setton expands, “I wrote ‘Gum’ from the perspective of someone who is starting to experience feelings of love in a relationship early on. Although they want to express that feeling of love, they’re conflicted because they know it might drive the other person away. ‘Gum’ is just the perfect song to play for someone to tell them you love them for the first time.” Soulful emotions on a soulful track with solid production is what you can expect on Setton’s latest single.
