Since 2014 the Halifax Duo, Neon Dreams (Kadillac & Adrian Morris), have been delivering music that has catchy melodies and strong beats in a pop fashioned setting. Neon Dreams have won Best New Group and Solo Artist at the 2017 Canadian Radio Music Awards, and even garnered a spot-on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s summer Spotify playlist. Neon Dreams first broke onto the scene with their gold-certified single, “Marching Bands.” Followed by two EPs in 2016 it was To You and their 2017 release of Wolf, Princess & Me. A full-length album is anticipated in 2019, but until then, fans can enjoy a new single “about you…”

Bursting with strong melodies and hip lyrics that resonate with poignancy, Neon Dreams has created a soul stirring single that elates the soul. Kadillac credits a soul-cleansing trip he took to Nicaragua earlier this year as a major leap forward for him as a songwriter. “Nicaragua was a therapeutic, spiritual journey for me,” he says. “I didn’t know what was my next step in life was, and then this camp came out of nowhere like I was invited to Hogwarts.” Its clear that experience resonated for Kadillac, this latest single is a step forward in the duos continued envelope pushing style. Shimmering with hiphop elements but leaning with a pop sensibility the track is infectious and memorable. That’s the short of it!
