Acoustic pop singer-songwriter Madison Olds launches her first single, “Thank You,” off her debut album, Blue. Developed by Juno award winning and Grammy nominated Canadian producer, Brian Howes/JVP (Mother, Nickelback, Daughtry), the song has a story of its own, written collaboratively in Nashville in 2017. Singles from Olds debut album began releasing September 28, starting with the latest “Thank you,” written by Madison Olds, Abby Wale, Brad Stella, Bobby Campbell and produced and mixed by Van Howes Studios (Grammy nominated Brian Howes and Jason van Poederooyen). Olds shows us the depth of experiences and transverses them to an empowerment tune, that aches of healing and moving on. The lyrics touch on subjects we all have had to deal with in the pursuit of love and how to move on. That’s the short of it!

Positives:

Olds sings with an impassioned authority, the listener feels the anguish of the lyric as Olds conveys her version of the age-old problem of picking up the pieces and the reliance one can have on themselves in the process.

Bottom Line:

“Thank You,” is destined to be a stone-cold hit. Lyrically reminiscent of the Christina Aguilera tune “Fighter,” She has created a more pop sensibility weighted tune, that resonates on a softer side, but with the same declination and self-preservation. Olds voice is luminescent as she delves deep into the courage of her resolve.
