LIEZA

Connect with LIEZA: Facebook |

LIEZA is a Dallas Texas native that is creating a hip sound that blends acoustic instruments, electronic sounds and her solid vocal style. She has been writing lyrics and music for years on her own, but now she is teaming up with Grammy award winning writer and producer Femke. The combination of Femke’s production and her lyrical honesty that reflects her insecurities and organic emotions, create an unspoken bond between the artist and her audience. LIEZA’s sound takes on influential clues from Lorde, Julia Michaels and Allie X.  LIEZA’s debut song, “Eyeliner,” was featured on R3HAB’s Night Playlist, and “Don’t Make Me Dance” made it on to New Music Friday in The Netherlands. Most recently her single “Hate Me” garnered the attention of playlist creators from Spotify across the globe and was featured on 9 New Music Friday playlists (Germany, Philippines, Taiwan, etc.) and scored a spot on the popular German playlist, Pop Brandneu. She is now releasing a new single titled, “Need Love.”

Positives:

“Need Love” has emotional lyrics and shows LIEZA’s warm and controlled vocal skills.

Bottom Line:

LIEZA brings us an emotional track with “Need Love” that is subtle, but still creates a sense of flow and energy. The vulnerability of the vocals comes through in LIEZA’s delivery and in the acoustic piano accompaniment. The track brings in delicate layers of sounds and supporting vocals to build the orchestration and momentum. The vocal harmonies add to the track and the meaning of the lyrics. LIEZA is a solid songwriter with an ear for catchy melodies. She is certainly one to watch and that’s the short of it!
