Positives:

The is an evolution from Kimbra’s previous work, slightly darker, but more emotional and clear in direction and flow. Nice world music sounds are throughout the project, for example, the African-style vocal harmonies and percussive beat that “Top of the World” is built on. Combine that with Kimbra’s creative songwriting and this offers something unlike anything on the pop airwaves today.
