J ELLE, Between The Lines Review
J ELLE is a London based singer songwriter with a powerful voice that is laced in the R&B sound space with pop sensibilities. Her musical journey commenced when she was just 9 years old, when she was influenced by her brother’s collection of R&B music. Previously more focused on football, she had been playing for Arsenal Girls, but soon her heart fell for the power of music. J Elle started making music at the age of 16 – supported by her school, which offered many opportunities for making and performing music – allowing her passion to grow into what is now her profession. In 2017, she released her debut with the self-penned 5 track EP called, Phases. The result was support from the likes of The Line Of Best Fit, Highsnobriety, New Wave District and ASBO Magazine. This Autumn marked the release of her single, “Take Me Away”and a support slot on Jack Maynard’s sold out #HEADLINES tour. Now, the rising R&B artist closes off the year with a six song EP titled, Between The Lines.
