Positives:
The energy is always flowing through the eighteen tracks. Farben is a solid songwritier and the production is full and balanced.
Bottom Line:
Farben's third album, Sticker On My Suitcase has a brilliant flow and the multiple collaborations with various artist allows the music to constantly be presenting fresh sounds and textures. “Comfort Zone” has a solid beat with spankey guitar work and full synth parts. The melody is memorable and hits the mark of dance pop music with a strong appearance from Quarterheard. “Walk Away” is an energetic selection that is Farben at his best. Big full production and solid lyrics, melody and groove. James Blunt sings the melody with control and passion. The song form has a nice flow and the background instrumentation is developed nicely. The albums theme about travel and life after several years spent on the road is the glue that keeps the project together. It is the journey, not the destination, that is the crucial part. Farben explains, "Being on the road is just as much my life as is arriving at places." Sticker on My Suitcase is the perfect addition to the summer playlist to make hot memories to and enjoy the journey. That’s the short of it!
