It was a chance meeting at the Cloverdale Rodeo that brought Jesse and Noelle Burch together, while performing in different bands.  Their mutual admiration of similar writing styles brought them to a collaborative writing session, and it was it that moment their chemistry was undeniable. The two spent the next four months honing their writing, and in those moments love also sparked and the two married in September of 2018. Teaming up with like-minded musicians from across western Canada, it was the vehicle they needed to actuate The Promised. Working with Bailey Way Entertainment at the Warehouse Studios, their debut single “We Could Be in Love” is already destined to be a hit.

Positives:

Undeniably gorgeous harmonies, silhouetted with embracing human stories make for a compelling listen.

Bottom Line:

The Promised has a synergistic sound that evokes the strong chemistry between Jesse and Noelle. Positive uplifting lyrics pinned by infectious country rhythms. It’s the combined effort of the entire group that gives The Promised their winning sound. “We Could Be in Love,” is a relatable story for anyone who has recently fallen in love, and even for the curmudgeons out there that need some love in their life. That’s the short of it!
