Greene is an accomplished songwriter, his tunes have many surprises, but always steeped with the blues tradition. His slide playing is very special, as is his big warm guitar tone.

Live From The 805 is a collection of twenty tunes the reveal the Alastair Geene Band doing what they do best, playing live heartfelt blues with a rock attitude. Greene’s vocals and guitar playing is something special and the rhythm section of Bede and Rankin keep things moving and centered. The recording quality is excellent for a live album and the feel of the material is well-paced and well executed.
