Positives:
Strong vocals with a rich growl, the song form is solid with a rock-pop feel that matches Miss Krystle's power. I say that for those of you in pop about to ROCK, we salute you, and thanks to Miss Krystle is is happening!
Bottom Line:
Powerful women are a blessing to the music industry and Miss Krystle is an artist, business owner and label owner that fits that bill to a “T”. Her new single, “Save Yourself,” is a pop with an edge. With a throbbing synth bassline and funky guitars setting the mood, Miss Krystle sings with a bursting warm sound. She brings in elements of rock with her growling glissandos into spot on intonated notes that will make your hair stand erect. The song form flows nicely, building and releasing into a bridge that relaxes to allow us to take a quick breath. The video is just as creative and striking as the single. Miss Krystle’s brand of pop will set you on your ear. Get ready to “Save Yourself.”
