PAX is bringing us some deep house with a unique sound. PAX was not always creating phat sounds. Growing up in the worst neighborhood you could possibly imagine, with hardly any friends to hang out with, PAX quickly developed a strong passion for technology. Having to deal with losing her family to drug abuse and street violence, PAX found relief in coding and learning programming languages inside her dark and rusty garage. After getting caught while hacking the US Government websites, she decided to pursue a music career. She is deeply connected to her programming roots as she generates music with purely digital sounds, with stunning bit depth and an impressive dynamic range. PAX has teamed up with vocalist Minelli to create her single titled, “Paradise.”  Minelli is a Romanian vocalist whose first solo single – “Empty Spaces,” was immediately appreciated by the radio stations and DJs around Europe. Furthermore, Minelli caught international attention and signed a contract with Ultra Music. Her Single went up the Charts in more than 12 territories including: Germany, Turkey, Poland and Russia.

Positives:

A beautiful blend of the human voice with electronic sounds that merge to create a moving moment of music that is enjoyable and sexy.

Bottom Line:

PAX creates sounds that are warm and have ‘human’ feel to them. Minelli’s voice is warm and folds into the sounds in a perfect union of joyfulness. “Paradise” is all about the feeling the beat creates and the layering in of subtle sounds to build the energy. The form is straight ahead, and the melody is clearly presented by Minelli. With a deep house vibe that will fit nicely on the dance floor, PAX has a solid sound going with “Paradise.” You will want to go too! That’s the short of it!
