Lyrics ‘Superhero’:
INTRO
I’ve got no one to save but me

VERSE 1
I’ve spent long enough
Putting others first
In the name of love
Giving them everything I’ve got
Ignoring my crying heart
Cause I haven’t lived the life that I want

PRE-CHORUS
So I pack my bags and leave
I’m not being selfish I just owe it to me

CHORUS
Cause I believed in me when no one else did
I chose what’s best for me, with no regrets
Every castle I own I built on my own
Yeah, I am my own superhero

VERSE 2
I only got one life
And it’s all mine
So I start living it today
Don’t wanna waste my time
This world is bigger than
This small town
I’ve got dreams to chase
And my way’s the only way how

CHORUS

BRIDGE
I’ve got no one to save but me
So watch me fly away
I’ve got no one to save but me
So I can’t stay

Positives:

There is an authenticity to Aimee’s songs, her tunes reach into the small corners of each human’s vulnerabilities and come out the other side with a refreshed anthem in Aimee’s songs.

Bottom Line:

Aimee has a knack that belies her vulnerability, it is this innate ability that allows her to connect to the listener in a deeper way. Its easy to recognize the expression of hope within Aimee’s songs. You can feel that optimism on tunes like “Superhero,” a song of self-reliance and belief that resonates for everyday people who try their best each day. Or “Goodbye Kiss,” that deals with the hardest thing to do, to say goodbye. Each tune has a reverence of everyday life, and a youthful exuberance to tackle it head on. Aimee has a winning sound. That’s the short of it!
