Stephanie Rose is new name on the country music scene.  Nominated for two categories at the 2018 Saskatchewan Country Music Awards, small town Rose has had a big year. Releasing her single “Crushed” on February 5, 2018 she was able to crack the Top 100 on both the BDS and TRAX national radio charts.  Playing multiple shows throughout the spring of 2018, which included a packed-house performance at the Professional Bull Riding circuit in Nipawin, SK. Rose shared the stage with her fellow Saskatchewan artists at the Songwriters Café at the 2018 SCMA awards weekend. With the release of her sophomore album EP Sprout (Sept. 28th, 2018), produced by RyLee Madison (ECMA Country Recording of the Year) and Clay Krasner (touring bass player for Terri Clark) of 7-17 Music.  Her latest single “Luxury,” will cement her current fans and bring new listeners to the fold.

Positives:

There is an honesty and sincerity in Rose’s storied songs. Her voice gets to the core of the emotional lyrics of “Luxury.” A well-penned tune, performed with strength and brilliance.

Bottom Line:

Rose is a true country singer. Her voice rings with sincerity and it is immediately evident from the first notes, she believes and conveys every not with crystalline and heartfelt delivery. She is the real deal, one of the best new emerging artists I have heard in years. County music fans will be flocking to this young vocalist. She takes real life experiences and puts them to music with a gifted voice that instantly transports the listener. If she is not signed by next year, there is something seriously wrong with our industry. Look out fans, here comes Stephanie Rose. That’s the short of it!
