Like a shooting star, Canadian country singer Beamer Wigley is shinning brighter than ever. At only 16 years of age, the Kelowna-based teen was a born songwriter, penning his first song at age 7. Wigley took First Place at the Vancouver P.N.E. ‘Star Showdown’ and at the brimming age of 9, he won the inaugural Penticton Youth Arts Award (25 and Under). At the ripe old age (yes, I jest), of 11, this child wonder hit the charts at #74 for his first single to radio.  His trajectory was written in the stars and at age 15, he was the youngest ever to be signed to Invictus Entertainment Group and label Big Star Recordings.  His swoon-worthy single “I Knew,” is advanced ahead of his sophomore EP due out later this year. The single also features special guest, Danny Rader (Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, LeAnn Rimes, Gretchen Wilson, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Julianne Hough) on Dobro.

Positives:

Wigley at only 16 is already refined in his delivery and connectivity to the listener. Backed by a seasoned team, this young lion can’t lose.

Bottom Line:

Co-Written by Award-Winning/GRAMMY-Nominated Hitmaker Keith Follese, (Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, Randy Travis, Katy Perry, John Oates) and wife Adrienne (Martina McBride, Jo Dee Messina, Emerson Drive, Lady Antebellum). “I Knew,” is also co-penned with their sons, its brimming with sophistication, laced with a down home appeal. Wigley has a voice that is instantly warming, his youthful innocence is an instant appeal. Wigley expands, “To tap into something more raw and organic feeling was a really cool experience.” The tune is a modern-day fashioned love song that is relatable and well-crafted. The melody is memorable and with Wigley at the helm with his exuberance, it all comes together like a hit in the making. That’s the short of it!
